The RX 460 is a more budget friendly AMD graphics option for running up to 3 displays in Mac OS High Sierra up through Monterey​. It is about 80% faster than (or about 180% equivalence) in performance to the legacy Radeon HD 5870 graphics card that came as an option in the 2010 Mac Pro, but with significantly less power consumption (75 vs 188 Watts, less than half) and heat emission.
Mac version, supports Metal API, supports Mac OS “gray” boot screen, i.e Startup Manager.
