ABOUT PRODUCT: Primary charge roller (PCR)
Primary charge roller, a cylinder made of metalcore and conductive rubber. Its main function is to adsorb toner evenly on the drum core and to eliminate the residual potential on the drum core. Primary charge roller is a new environmentally friendly charging method that reduces the generation of ozone and charges evenly and noiselessly. Is widely used in laser printers, also used in low-speed copiers. Laser printer charging.

Steps to replace the PCR unit
A rubber roller inside the toner cartridge places the electrical charge on the Organic Photoconductor drum. It also erases the residual charge once the print cycle is complete.

Step1: 1. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge.(s).
Step2: 2. Detach the left side of the charge roller assembly from the printer, see picture below.
Step3: 3. Next, detach the right side of the charge roller assembly.
Step4: When installing the new charge roller, avoid touching the surface of the roller, handle it by its tips. Install right side first, then lock in the left side.
